What is a HMO?

HMO is an abbreviation for House of multiple occupation. A property is referred as a HMO if at least 3 tenants live there, forming more than 1 household. You may share toilet, bathroom or kitchen facilities with other tenants, or have complete privacy with En-suite bathrooms, lounge areas and kitchenettes.

HMO’s come in all shapes and sizes and each one will differ in the amount of challenges and rewards it will bring. Each property is unique and managed with this in mind.

With owning and investing in HMO’s ourselves, we know what level of management is needed. We operate with over 20 HMO’s within the Sussex area which gives us the experience and knowledge to platform ourselves as experts.


Frequently Asked Questions By Tenants

Yes!! You only pay the price quoted as all your water bills, council tax and gas is included. Even high speed broadband!!!

Sharing is exciting and extremely sociable. You will normally be sharing with maybe 2/3 people. Every household is unique with the dynamics and its our job that it works well. If you have any preferences please discuss this during our initial meeting.

Minimum tenancy is 6 months, but you can stay as long as your contract states. Some of our tenants have been in their residence for over 5 years.

With a number of people sharing the property we encourage that 2/3 evenings a week is fair to have a friend or partner to stay. For longer periods we ask that this is discussed with us and your house mates.

All our properties are modern, fresh and clean. We hope they meet your requirements, if you have something specific you are looking to change we are happy to discuss on a case by case basis.

Depending on your personal crcumstances you may or may not need a guarentor, we will discuss this in our initial chat.
